Role
Senior Pastor & Founder
Pastor Kevin Nelson Sr., alongside Lady Linda Nelson Sr., leads Christ Kingdom Fellowship with a deep conviction to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. His visionary leadership is rooted in the biblical mandate to make disciples and demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways.
Passion for Prison Ministry
A cornerstone of his heart for ministry is an unwavering dedication to those incarcerated. Believing firmly in the promise of Luke 4:18 — to proclaim freedom for the prisoners — he works tirelessly to bring the message of redemption, hope, and second chances to those behind bars, equipping them for a successful, Christ-centered reentry.
-
Through systematic outreach, mentorship programs, and biblical counseling, the ministry under his guidance seeks not just to minister temporarily, but to build lasting foundations. He believes that no one is beyond the restorative grace of God. Pastor Nelson and Lady Linda have shepherded Christ Kingdom Fellowship's family for years, watching it grow from a small gathering into a Kingdom community devoted to worship, discipleship, and service across Louisville.
